The Rooster Quilt

I *seriously* had a hard time giving this back to its owner.
The piecing was impeccable, and seeing that I have chickens, this charming quilt would have fit very well in my home.

Look closely and you may see the chickenwire border, a few bugs and eggs.

Carla --

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog yesterday. I'm delighted you came, and also so that I found you! I have bookmarked your blog as one of my favorites and I'll check back often. I love your quilting -- it is impeccable! The rooster quilt is adorable -- love the feathers and eggs you quilted in it. Too cute!

I wouldn't have wanted to give this one back either but then there are several I wouldn't want to give back. Great quilt and blog...will be back.

Clever idea, the chicken wire, and just beautifully done. Sigh. Someday . . .
